The moment we have it "all figured out” is the moment we’re done growing. We aim to stay curious about what the way of Jesus looks like in each season of our lives. And we strive to live, give, and serve in such a way that others can’t help but be curious themselves.
We believe the local church should be the first place people think of when they’re looking to explore their biggest questions about faith, meaning, and purpose. And we'll never be done creating space for others to join us.
In 2000, a small group of people began meeting together in a hotel breakfast room. They were convinced the Forest Lake Area needed a church designed for people who didn't do church; and they were confident God was calling them to create it. It wasn't long before those breakfast room meetings became a movement of hundreds of people passionate about inviting others into the way of Jesus.
Today, we continue to guide that movement forward, creating space for people with questions of faith in our community.
The Community Church is affiliated with Converge North Central, a movement of churches working to help people meet, know, and follow Jesus.
